Biography: Sunny started her Biomedical Engineering PhD in the fall of 2023. She received her BA from Wheaton College (MA) in 2019 with double majors in Physics, Bioinformatics, and a minor in Chemistry. She is interested in interdisciplinary studies and has since worked in the Biomedical Engineering field with interests in cardiovascular cell and tissue mechanics. Her current research in PREG will be focused on investigating the hormonal effects on cardiomyocytes and smooth muscle cell biomechanics.
